Introductory word by Ladislav „Nodlle_____“ Dyntar:
„While preparing documents for the celebration of our tenth birthday I went back in time. On the way I laughed, wondered and sometimes I even shed a few tears. From the team we created exactly 10 years ago – on Friday 13th, grew something unprecedented here. We gained more than one thousand medals from all around the world, news about eSuba and its success has been mentioned in media of all kinds, but we value the most the undying support of you, our fans. You are the ones, who have been with us in good times and bad times and always keep eSuba up and running. Thank you for giving us a reason to exist!
eSuba´s history consists of a number of short stories. Stories of players, who have known since their first moments in front of a computer that they want to be the best. And also those who got inspired by us and could proudly join us a few years later. I am proud that I could be, thanks to eSuba, alongside such players as the invincible BuRgiN, el-Diablo, hanni, amazing CoD 1 section around SleiP, players, such as luckeR, Misak, Mazarini, blx, CSK players from section around jckl and many others. Every player helped to shape eSuba to the form it has now. It is not possible to name them all and I believe that those I didn’t name will certainly forgive me but I am sure that every one of you has a favourite. Of course, eSuba would not and could not exist without people who are not seen at first sight. People who are close to us as a family and who would do anything for gaming. I am talking about Jump, Toni, Pospi, sCop, PITTBULL, Pigi and everyone else who take care of eSuba everyday operation.
While reading the old articles dating back to 2004, I revived all the best memories and while viewing thousands of photos, I realized that eSuba is like a family to me. We have been together for ten years and I hope that one day we will celebrate the twentieth birthday. Thank you all and remember – Play With Soul!”
2004: Getting started! eSuba enters the Czech scene
It sounds absolutely incredible. Already ten long years have passed since the creation of the eSuba gaming team. It was built based on the game Call of Duty which was then a large boom and its community was among the biggest in the Czech Republic. The very first players as well as the founders were Jakub „sLic“ Wawrzacz, Petr „PITTBULL“ Hota, Ladislav „Nodlle_____“ Dyntar and Richard „Kursk23“ Dvořák. This started it all. And do you know what the last sentence in the first article was? “I believe that eSuba will be a proficient and tough opponent to all clans.”

“A new star will shine today in the night sky of Czech Call of Duty gaming scene. It is called eSuba and at the same time six experienced players will set on a long journey. Their journey will be full of tough matches and they will taste the bitter taste of defeat many times. However, as well as the sun rises every morning their star will shine every night. And one day, when they reach the end of their distressful journey, their star will start shining even during the day. So its dive, so it’s written, so said he prophet.”

2005: The Czech Champions for the first time
Many things happened during the following months after the creation of eSuba. The club stopped being focused only on one single game, got more and more successful, new partners came and we even got the very first foreign player from Finland. All efforts got a new dimension after the success at the InvexCup. Year before, eSuba finished on 5th to 8th place just to seize its first title from the most prestigious tournament in the Czech Republic only one year later. Actually, to be correct, they were two gold medals! One from Call of Duty and one from FIFA! Two future legends joined our club that year – Hannibal (Unreal Tournament 2004) and El Diablo (FIFA).

2006: The year when it came to the crunch
The year 2006 was a turning point. Call of Duty II was released, many things changed on the scene and among them one new top player joined us – NHL Burgin who then later became a huge icon not only in his game but in the whole eSuba. Our club went abroad for the first time. Not one but twice. The first were Netherlands and the second France. But we had to wait for the desired success. However, CoD1 section won a hugely subsidized tournament on the domestic scene – 100.000 CZK. And at the same time was created a very popular video clip featuring plague. El Diablo at the World Cyber Games in Monza finishing on the 9th to 16th shared place which was a historic achievement.
2007: The first CoD success abroad
As previously mentioned, we had to wait for the desired success. It came in 2007 when our CoD players went once again to Netherlands and they finished on the wonderful fourth place. It was the first big offline success abroad and our boys continued with it by getting a bronze medal at a Belgian tournament. After this line of success many sponsors came to eSuba and our background significantly improved. On the anniversary of eSuba creation, the Counter-Strike: Source section joined the team. It is the one that later conquered the whole world and then joined the British clan Reason Gaming. This is also the year when El Diablo officially finished his career.

2008: Europe, gold medal, eSubytches
With the growing fame, eSuba got a reputation. Earned respect bore fruit and the imaginary display cabinet of successes is literally overflowing. Koozy – the successor of El Diablo joined eSuba and became kind of a “continuator” in number of achievements – he crushed everything and everyone at home and quickly became No. 1. CoD players brought perfect bronze medals from Netherlands and later went also to Belgium and Denmark. CS:S section was at the top and their European dominance after winning the French tournament literally catapulted them into the before mentioned British organisation. eSuba created its first Ladies CS team which later went to ESWC in Paris. Foundations of TrackMania section were also laid this year.
TeX in Denmark was an amazing experience
2009: The plundered abroad
Never before or since did we manage to get so many achievements at foreign offline tournaments. It was mainly thanks to the Call of Duty 4 section (paradox, beaster, king, Mazarini, Luboshmir) which managed to built incredible respect – they won tournaments in Slovenia, Russia, got silver medals from France and eventually also a title from Hungary (where by the way went a huge expedition from eSuba and brought also gold medals from CoD1 and CS 1.6). The, however, came not very successful tournaments in Denmark and Belgium and they started the repetition of history, as it was with the former CS:S team – the team got an offer from Power gaming from abroad and they joined it. It was very unpleasant news right before the WGT in Brno, but the situation was saved with the return of the legendary luckeR who won with a hastily built team beautiful bronze medals. At the same time, the CS players won gold medals in Brno – the king´s sceptre of the domestic number one.
This is how our expedition to Hungary looked like
2010: The birth of a new era
In earlier years, eSuba was built exclusively on the game Call of Duty. Not that it changed much, but the club started to be pulled forward mostly by Counter-Strike 1.6 section which kept winning big domestic events and is also successful abroad – such as at the LAN finals of, Samsung Euro Championship. StarCraft II team joined eSuba in 2010 and shortly afterwards conquered the whole Czech scene and crushes every opponent without hesitation. But the CoD players hesitate neither who after dealing with some personal changes finished at the fifth place in Denmark, won the Intel league as well as the Slovakian Championship. They also went to Belgium but went home empty-handed. CS Ladies section changed during the year and the newer one went to DreamHack. We also created a CoD Ladies section.

2011: Overwrite the history, we are the World Champions
The year 2011 was perhaps the brightest ever. Each team worked for 100% and collected one trophy after another. Whether they were domestic or foreign tournaments. This year’s events sound like a fairytale. Our Terran champion PredY got not only to Intel Extreme Masters to Kiev but also among the top sixteen players at DreamHack Summer, which was absolutely incredible. He set such a limit that probably no one from the world of Czech StarCraft II can surpass it. After this fabulous summer, comes another almost sci-fi story. Great things happened at the ESWC in Paris (the world championship) and our drivers from the eSuba.Red Bull team take care of one of the greatest achievements of the domestic gaming. You see, hakkiJunior won in France and tween got the silver medal. They brought home a double and moved their career to a new level. Mainly hakki became a real media star and later also the first fully supported Red Bull e-athlete. Moreover, this was also the year when we visited the waters of League of Legends.
Touching moments – hakkiJunior and tween conquered the whole world
2012: Tween conquers the Czech Republic as well as the world
In the year that should have been the last in the history of mankind as many prophets stated, eSuba had one of the biggest achievements at the Czech Championship in computer games. All qualifications and point tournaments culminated with the grand finale in Seč near Pardubice. eSuba won then six precious metals and four of them were the most valuable ones. Gold medals won players from Battlefield 3, League of Legends, TrackMania Nations (again tween) and StarCraft II sections. The biggest success was the lastly mentioned game – . SCII. Three our players went to the stage together – Rikytan won, second was DeViL and third TomikuS. Not long after the Czech Championship took place the famous ESWC and both our drivers hakkiJunior and Tween went there. While hakki failed to get to the finals, Tween once again showed his skills and became the runner-up World Champion for the second time in the TrackMania game.
Incredible drama at ESWC and breath-taking finish
2013: Golden feast at the Czech Championship
Because we all survived the magic date at the end of 2012, our players could begin to fully focus on new challenges. 2013 was also very interesting and successful year for our players. Perhaps the greatest success celebrated our League of Legends section lead by Herdyn which went to Denmark at the beginning of the summer to the traditional event Copenhagen Games. Here Herdyn and col. fought among the tough foreign competition and finished on the fantastic first place winning 4.000 Euro. After this success everyone predicted them a bright future. These predictions were confirmed at the Czech Championship which took place then at the ForGames fair. eSuba repeated here the performance from autumn before and re-occupied most of gold positions. The most happy ones were players from League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, TrackMania Nations (the gold medal won once again hakkiJunior who beat his team mate Tween in a very thrilling finale) and of course StarCraft II too (Reitor showed his skills here for the first time). We had six medals again just as we had year before. However, players from League of Legends section left us at the end of the year and joined a rival team.
The Danish mission was excellent
2014: We are not finished yet
Although we are now only in mid-2014, eSuba already has had a several successes. Everything started with recruiting the new League of Legends section. It gradually fought its way to bigger and bigger achievements which is proved by number of victories, such as the LoLcon, LanCraft and of course the qualification to this year’s Gamescom which starts right now. This group of players turned out to be a good choice made by the management as well as the choice to recruit players for the new Blizzard game Hearthstone. Also here our members manage to keep pace with the world´s best and they rightfully belong to the Top 10 of the world. TrackMania 2 Stadium game players shine too. Tween and hakkiJunior went together to France to for Gamers Assembly. Tween celebrated the victory and hakki won the bronze medal – this Slovak duo showed their strength again. Sadly, we won’t see this game at this year’s Czech Championship which will start on 2nd October. We strongly believe that the list of our achievements is not yet finished for this year and that we will see more great moments and write much joyful news just like those our players brought for us throughout the long ten years.
