Two-time Czech champion is back in eSuba! Will we see a golden hat-trick?

We got a very interesting and for some quite unexpected news from our card camp. A new player joined our team and he could help our players to achieve even better results on the domestic as well as the European scene.

(HS section on LanCraft Summer 2014)

Our Hearthstone section has worked unchanged since Česká republika Tomáš „VanillaTitan“ Richter joined our team. Since then is eSuba.INTEL well known abroad mainly thanks to good results on Gentlemen Cup, where it beats really strong teams and is at the top of the league. Despite all this a change happened in our HS section and it is quite an important one.

Jan „Rikytan“ Kusák returns to eSuba.INTEL!

This player went through many adventures in our team. He triumphed on the Czech Championship in the game StarCraft II in 2012 and one year later also in the game League of Legends, where together with Herdyn’s team dominated the whole tournament which was held at the ForGames fair. Then he left with his whole team to FrozenRiders. This engagement didn’t last long which subsequently led to the decision to stop playing the game altogether and start playing a novelty by Blizzard – Hearthstone. Nobody was surprised when he got quite successful and his name is on the list among the best 50 players in Europe according to the GosuGamers server. His participation in the upcoming qualification to this year’s BlizzCon helped him to achieve this rank, because he managed to stay among the best 16 players from previous season.

(Rikytan as the LoL Czech Champion from 2013)

Regarding the first this year’s LanCraft Summer 2014, you all surely know that Rikytan got among the 8 best players, but he didn’t manage to get to the final four. Neither did his colleagues CzechCloud or VanillaTitan. However, he won an accompanying tournament which rewarded him with some important Czech Championship points.

However, in order to join our section, somebody had to leave. It is Česká republika Michal „SuperFrankie“ Durčák. He was not fired, but left at his own request.  He will stay in touch with the team, for he joins our editorial staff and you can expect him to bring you many reports mainly from tournaments in Prague such as Blizzfan.cz series.

The captain Česká republika Petr „CzechCloud“ Žalud said about the situation:

„I met Rikytan at last year’s Advik where he preformed great in the old Herdyn’s group in League of legends and won the whole tournament. I wanted to get him to our team ever since he started playing HearthStone because I believe he is one of those players who has extensive experience with e-gaming and has enough time to devote to it. However, in the last few months even he didn’t know if he wants to spend all his time with HearthStone because of his involvement in other games which I certainly don’t have to mention here. The change happened in the last few weeks and you could see it on LanCraft where he showed very nice performance. There we had enough time to talk about it with the team, if they want him or not and we agreed that he would be a great asset. Michal „SuperDurčák“ Durčák decided to leave the team at his own request and become a full time editor. We will surely meet him on gaming events but he will aim at us with the camera.“

Jan Kusák aka Rikytan will wear the eSuba.INTEL jersey again and you can see him already on the next events such as LanCraft Autumn and of course the Czech Championship. It will be certainly very interesting to see whether he manages to score the previously mentioned golden hat-trick.

Hearthstone section remains with the same number of players – seven. They will continue with the already started tournaments and leagues and in addition, we will see them on the new French tournament Hearthstone Clan War, where they should meet in the first round the JudgeHype team. If they manage to beat them, they would have to play a tough match with the Planet Key Dynamics team. We will give you more information about this tournament later and now let us have a look at the new HS section.
