Nissan GT Academy is a special program for finding talented drivers. At first, the contestants participate in online qualification in the game Gran Turismo and the best of them advance to national finals. From each national finale advance only two chosen drivers – they had to go through many different disciplines, such as driving a simulator, driving a real car, screen tests and physical test. The World Finals is going to happen again on the famous British Silverstone circuit.
Two Czech players managed to get to the so-called Race Camp and one of them is Antonín „Toni“ Bláha, who won the Czech qualification which took place at the National Stadium in Warsaw. The legendary Trackmania driver will go through a similar process as his colleague Erik Leštach last year with the same goal – to become the overall champion. If he succeeded, he would undergo a very intensive training program by Nissan and then would take part in a series of races all around the world. It will be very difficult though, because it will be decided by every detail and even a prefect performance doest have to be enough.
