Jaedong celebrates first title this year! He won Lone Star Clash 3!

The dominance of Korean players in StarCraft II doesn’t end and it seems it is not going to for some more time. This time they showed what they are capable of on Lone Star Clash 3 in Texas where they finished on first four places. Most of them dominated their basic group – except Armani and SeleCTo and without any major problems got to the play-off part of the tournament. Two non-Koran players managed to do so too – HuKo and Stephano and it was really close call and they both might have been also in the semi-finals, because they both lost in the final fifth map. At the end none of them managed to beat their opponents – Polt and Jaedong. Anyway the French player Stephano deserves a big respect because he hasn’t been actively playing for a while for he spends all his time studying and regardless he managed to perform very well.

The best four players were Polt versus Bomber and Jaedong versus viOlet. Two semi-final mirrors were always luckier for the first mentioned player and we could see a reprise of WCS NA finals from last year. But Jaedonga was luckier this time and he could celebrate his first title of this year which must have made him very happy after the bronze medal from Bucharest. As a champion he won 7500 dollars. The bronze medal won a player from Red Bull team – Bomber.
