Our Hearthstone section showed yesterday what they can do. They took part in the first match of a new league called the Gentlemen Cup.
It has been just a few weeks since the tournament called TakeTV Hearthstone Invitational took place and one of eSuba.INTEL players took part in it too. It was Aleš „Alesh“ Hemer who sadly didn’t get to the final phases of the tournament and the overall winner became a player from Germany
Jan „Ekop“ Palys. TakeTV didn’t waste any time and just short time ago announced organising of their own league. Only eight teams will take part in it and six of them got already their invites – eSuba.INTEL was one of them.
Our players won’t be the only players from the Czech Republic and Slovakia because two other spots were reserved for winners of the qualification and one of them is the HS team from eEriness organisation lead by Roman „TanakhT“ Pivec who took part in the spring DreamHack in Bucharest. We are going to see there also teams from abroad as DogeHouse for which plays star like
Cong „Strifecro“ Shu as well as the winner of the TakeTV tournament
Jan „ek0p“ Palys and a polish star
Marcin „Gnimsh“ Filipowicz. We can see there also vVv, Meet Your Makers, Innovation and MiA. We shouldn’t forget also about Planetkey Dynamics with
Teun „Vortex“ Eielts and
Jakub „Lothar“ Szygulski in their line-up.
The system of the tournament is simple. Al eight teams play with each other one match and the team with most points wins. Teams will play for 7 000$ and the overall winner will get 4 000$ of it. Each team chooses 4 players and the order in which they will play in each match. The first player from team A plays against the first player from team B. Matches between players are BO3 and between teams BO5. If there is after 4 matches the score 2-2 each team has to choose one player for the final round which will decide the winner. Each round is going to be filmed and they streamed a week later with live commentary of the old duo P4wnyhof and
Noonia.
Who are the four players representing eSuba on the Gentlemen Cup? We have almost all our players in the line-up but we believe that the most active participants will be Aleš „Alesh“ Hemer,
Jan „Mirrari“ Jestříbek,
Martin „Silhan“ Plachý and
Tomáš „VanillaTitan“ Richter. If needed other players from the line-up will take part in it.
(Silhan a Alesh)
These four players succeeded in their first match of this tournament. Yesterday I the evening was streamed the match between eSuba.INTEL team and Team MiA. Our players started the tournament successfully and won with the score 4-0. Duels were between players VanillaTitan and
Buksa,
Alesh and
Freck,
Mirrari and SasT and the last one between
Silhan and
Grimmjowa which proved eSuba´s dominance in this match.
That’s what we call a perfect entrée into a league. We will have to wait at least one week for other matches but we believe that our players will do as well as they did yesterday.
