Hi, Kappa! Congratulations to your silver medal from Race4Prague, how does it feel?
Hi, it feels really great. Mostly because I got through the whole tournament by a whisker so the final result is really awesome.
Did you expect to get so far and exceed your colleagues?
I wanted to get quite far because I trained really hard. But did I expect to beat tween? I only hoped I could and two weeks ago on Quietus Day I told him that I would beat him next time. So at least I kept the promise.
What do you think about your teammate’s performance?
The truth is that when I was fighting for the last spot for the finals against tween it could have been me on the fifth place. I was just better at that round so I don’t think that his performance was bad though people expect a lot from tween. And about the others – Hakki had some kind of eczema and high fever so he didn’t have much chance. Kubayz tried really hard but he had bad luck in critical moments and prcek is prcek.
How would you evaluate the line-up? Many players came from abroad e.g. Spam. Was it the hardest tournament for you, because of these top players?
It was my first international LAN, so yes it was the hardest. Spam is the World Champion, Hakki was the champion last year, tween had silver twice, and Tamarillo was second on Gamers Assembly and many others. There were really a lot of top players in Prague.
What were you thinking about when you fell to the Losers bracket? If you want to you can describe both rounds from your point of view.
It was really unpleasant because I fell to LB on Saturday and therefore I then had to win as many matches as possible. And to lose the last Saturdays match, that doesn’t really boost your confidence. It was really hard on Sunday and I didn’t start well, but I managed to pull myself together and it gave me strength and hope that nothing is lost even when you are losing 30 points at the Grandfinale.
You mentioned the Grandfinale where you stood against Spam, Znik and Tamarillo. Did you believe that you were able to beat anyone of them and get a medal? Did you get any support from you teammates?
The only one I was really afraid of was Tamarillo. He beat me twice already throughout the tournament, but surprisingly enough at the end he was the one I could beat for the most points. I want to thank again for all the support. There was 12-13 guys sitting around me (mostly from eSuba), going through the whole thing with me and cheering a lot. With this kind of support it was almost impossible to lose. Thanks again.
You got silver medal from your first EU tournament where do you see yourself next? Did it change your plans for the future? Do you want to go to other similar events?
I wish there was more events like this one. My biggest goal is to win The Czech Championship in October – I would value it even more that this silver medal. I would also love to qualify to ESWC, but there are only a few spots and the competition is really tough. I will need some luck.
So do you think that you have a chance to beat the best players in the Czech Republic – to beat tween and hakki?
The most important thing for us is to have enough points in the chart. I believe that I can beat Hakki for some time now, but I can’t say that about tween. I managed to beat him in Prague so why not again on the Czech Championship? J Tween is not beaten everyday so there is a high motivation to do it especially on this kind of event.

Let’s get back once more to the Race4Prague event. What do you think about the District Prague game room and its organization?
Everything works the way it’s supposed to be in District – at least I didn’t have any problems. High class computers, great atmosphere and nice staff. I talked to some guys from Netherlands and they said they had never been to any such game room before. They said they didn’t have anything like that in Netherlands. J District Prague has A- from me (44 Crowns for 0,2l of juice is maybe too much).
Well this is the end of our interview – Thank you a lot for your time and once again congratulations. Do you want to tell us anything else?
I want to thank a lot to all who came to District to support our players. I think that the tournament got good advertising thanks to FrostBeul´s stream and if District wanted to do this tournament again there would be even bigger attendance. Good bye!
