Two new players in our Hearthstone section!

We believe that the contribution these new players are bringing to the team will be very important. Both Michal and Martin keep very steady results on the top in tournaments in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. Martin was twice in the finale of the most prestigious European tournament – ESL Beta Cup and also has many TOP results on Czech PlayZone tournaments. Michal is a very universal player which he proved by getting to the Legendary rank and except constructed has also very stable results in the arena. His standard is around 9-X which is definitely above-average result easily comparable to the World´s top.

Michal „Wildmongrel“ Benčok:

„Hi, my name is Michal, I am 26 years old and I come from Prague. I was first introduced to TCG last millennium – year 1999. It was Magic the Gathering and I used to play mostly constructed. Among my favorites were Affinity and Madness – that’s where my nick Wildmongrel comes from. I like also other games – e.g. DOTA 2 and X-com. What I like most about Hearthstone is creating new and sometimes pretty crazy decks and combs. If I have time in the future I will write some articles about arenas and constructed packages. Later maybe some stream too.“

Martin „Silhan“ Plachý:

„Hello, my name is Martin Plachý and you might know me by the name „Silhan“. I am 20 years old and come from Banská Bystrica – the heart of Slovakia. Card games have always been a part of my life. I used to play Magic the Gathering the most – 2003 to 2013 – now I play it only with friends while drinking beer. I used to play also WOW TCG but not like MTG, because it was not so supported in Slovakia. When I heard about Hearthstone I immediately knew that this is the game I had been waiting for. This game has future – they have new sets and mode planned and I really want to devote myself to it.
