Really unprecedented changes in our Hearthstone section line-up – two players are replaced.
Yes, you are reading it correctly! Two current members of our team will be replaced by new ones. It is a drastic step but it can bring positive changes for our and possibly even the world scene in the future. Michael „NeuROIX“ Neuwirth is leaving our team. This player joined the team quite recently at a time when we had to say goodbye to duo
Alesh and
Mirrari. More information about it here. This change happened, however, in a wrong moment for Michael because he didn’t have time for active playing. Therefore he agreed with the section captain
Petr „CzechCloud“ Žalud to bring an end to their cooperation.
„VanillaTitan and NeuR0IX are leaving eSuba„
The second one is Tomáš „VanillaTitan“ Richter. This talented player has been in our team since the beginning of the Hearthstone section and helped his teammates to many successes. He is one of players who contributed to the excellent performance on Gentlemen’s Cup, where they dominated the whole Europe for 10 weeks and got to the top ten teams in the world. The more we regret that it is him whose place will be taken by a new player. We will see VanillaTitan on various tournaments and probably also in a new team. The captain CzechCloud will tell you more about the reasons for their departure:
We have now other big changes in the team and as it was when Alesh and Mirrari were leaving, it is a quite important change in the Czech/Slovak scene. The first one who is leaving is Neuroix who managed to win the iPhone Expert Invitational in Re-Load, but since then has been so busy that he didn’t represent us at all. I wish him all the best for the future. The second one is VanillaTitan, who was a great support for the team in the best moments – the Gentleman’s Cup, had great results in offline tournaments such as Grunex Challenge and also coached the rest of the team. We agreed on parting ways with Titan because he got a better offer and some other reasons, we decided to keep for ourselves. I also wish Titan a lot of future success. „We welcome two new players – Pokrovac and Meyger„
As I mentioned in the introduction, the number of players in the section remains the same thanks to two newcomers. The first one is a former player of the Yu-Gi-Oh game Ladislav „Meyger“ Majer. Hi is no newbie on the card game scene. He became the 2011 Czech Champion in Yu-Gi-Oh and he wasn’t any less successful in the later years. Thanks to his excellent results he went often to foreign tournaments for example to France, Spain and Great Britain. He will try now to continue in the successes of previous years in our team.
The second player is, lately mentioned a lot, Mikuláš „Pokrovac“ Dio. His history is also very rich and you might have seen him on many events of the game Magic the Gathering, where he was often successful. He has been on the Hearthstone scene for about eight months and his original home was the Gunrunners organisation. But now he accepted the offer from eSuba.INTEL and will try to help his teammates to excellent results. Last time you could see him was the weekend Fujitsu league where he finished on the fifth place. But this is not his only success. He got medals on various online tournaments and also ESL.
