Team-Velvet make changes to their lineup

After several changes in the Finnish COD2 scene, with  zCore.Gaming changing clans to afterlife,  Insignia Cadre losing motivation to play with each other, and  Junk52 focussing mainly on an international line-up, another change occured in the Finnish scene. Today, Team-Velvet announced some changes concerning their main lineup. The Finnish team departed with both  Holic and Frogzy, who decided to leave the team because they felt as though they didn´t really fit in.

 Team-Velvet, who had previously been part of the dtekt.esports multigaming organisation mid August, decided to act swiftly in order to remain active, and officially announced the return of   Krozej, who left the team a couple of months ago together with Tubrick. The two players had been playing for Venatio-Gaming. The return of  Krozej will see him as a backup at the moment, according to team captain  KEZ6, although he will most likely be playing with the team at the Swedish Wonderbase LAN. On top of the return of  Krozej to the lineup,  Team-Velvet recruited the rather unknown but talented Finnish player Azure, an old friend of both  Aliz and  WltR. Azure will be taking one of the spots in the main line-up for the upcoming competitions both online and at LAN.

These changes leave  Team-Velvet with a steady six man line-up of: 

  Teemu „KEZ6“ Kettunen
  Matias „krozej“ Mikkola
  Ville „aliz“ Pasanen
  Petri „wltR“ Mämmi
  Manu „cortezZ“ Tenhunen
  Joni „azure“ Tamminen

Statement KEZ6: „Holic and frogzy left the team, just because they didnt fit in the team. There´s no argument between me and them – they just felt their place wasn´t in our team. After testing couple of players, we decided to add azure – who was an old friend of aliz and wltr. Azure is active, skilled and plays wisely. Next to that we took back krozej as our backup and manager. Allthough not yet 100% sure, he will most likely be playing for velvet in wonderbase. But like I said, frogzy and holic left team velvet as our friends, not as our enemies“.
