We kept our promise! Here comes the first interview with the new member of our girl CS:GO team. The first one to tell us something about herself is Simona Žilinčíková alias Potato.

This young Slovakian player has been playing a lot. Her gaming history dates back to CS 1.6 where she already tried what it is like to be in a girls section. She is the new payer of our renewed eSuba.Ladies. All news and information can be found out directly on her fan page facebook.com/potatocsgo. What will she tells us about herself?

News - eSuba Hi Simona, thank you for your time. The first question will be classical. Who is hiding behind the nickname Potato?
Hi, as you already know, my name is Simona Žilinčíková, I am 20 years old. I come from Považská Bystrica which is quite close to Žilina.

News - eSuba You have quite a long gaming history for your age. What were your gaming beginnings?
I’ve already started very early, still at primary school when I was 13 years old. I played CS 1.6 – my brother introduced it to me. I liked this game and I started to play on public servers and meet new people. Later, I managed to get into the ONEFRAG.Ladies team where I played for some years. Sadly, we were not very successful with this team. I began to play CS:GO in May 2014. After a short while, I had the opportunity to go to the iNfected.ladies team with whom it sadly didn’t last long. And I just I hope that with these girls it will last long and we will be successful.

News - eSuba When you learned about the fact that eSuba.Ladies is recruiting, were you immediately determined to give it a try?
When I learned about the recruitment, I hesitated at first. I was not sure if I was good enough. But then I decided that trying it wouldn’t hurt. I am glad that girls picked me.

News - eSuba The team has been together for a week now. How far is the process of your preparation? Do you have time to meet and train regularly?
We train 3-4 times a week. Despite the fact that girls work / go to school, we have time to meet.

News - eSuba You are going to play in the qualification to IEM Katowice 2016 in three days. What chances do you see in the competition of 28 teams?
Unfortunately we have been together only for a short time and we didn’t have time to practice all maps. But surely we will try to perform as well as possible.

News - eSuba What do you think are the overall ambitions of your team?
I would be very happy if we got to some LAN and we would of course like to participate in various online tournaments to get as much experience as possible. Our priority now is to play well and stay together.

News - eSuba You are one of the three new players in eSuba.Ladies. What do you think about you teammates?
We got on with the “old” team members already during the recruitment. When I met the new ones I found out that they are also nice and friendly. We enjoy playing together and we understand each other.

News - eSuba Do you have in CS:GO any gaming model, whether from girls or men’s team, who you look up to?
I have no model in CS:GO. I like to watch streamed matches when there are some tournaments where I can watch the best players and learn new things.

News - eSuba  I wanted to ask about you nickname Potato the whole time. Where did it come from?
Many people ask about it. This nickname originated in my high school where my classmates called me potato. I still don’t know why. Maybe my head looks like it (laughs). Anyway, I like the nickname and that’s why I used it.

News - eSuba Thank you for your time and nice answers. Now you have the chance to say something to the fans of the team or your personal fans.
I also thank you. I would like to thank all our fans for their support and I hope that we will not disappoint them. We will try to do our best to make them happy.
